ASTec Metalworks is proud to announce our associate sponsorship support for Marylander Brandon Price for the 2020 American Flat Track Super Twins Season aboard his ROOF SYSTEMS OF DALLAS Indian FTR 750 Motorcycle (https://www.roofsystemsracing.com/index.html ). Brandon’s success as a rookie in 2019 earned him the right to graduate from his rookie number 192 to National Number 92 for 2020! The complete series will be telecast on NBCSN http://www.americanflattrack.com/events-nbcsn as well as live on NBC Sports Gold streaming.
American Flat Track is America’s original extreme sport as well as the guardian of the Grand National Series, formerly established in 1954 but with roots reaching back to motorcycling’s original speed demons of a century ago.
At its core, professional flat track racing is a hyper-competitive, adrenaline-fueled American motorcycle sport featuring custom-built and production-based motorcycles reaching top speeds of 140 mph on the straights and 90 mph in the corners, all piloted by world-class athletes.
Plans are being developed for special ASTec Metalworks Tailgates at a portion of the races on the 18-event schedule. However, if you would like to meet Brandon at ANY of the events on the circuit, all events have a rider autograph session during a break in the racing schedule to provide spectators with an opportunity to meet the riders and see the motorcycles up close. If you stop by to meet Brandon please tell him “ASTec” sent you!
Brandon’s dirt track racing career started on the amateur circuit when he was seven years old. During nearly a decade of amateur racing Brandon earned the highly coveted 2010 AMA Youth Rider of the Year Award. He also tallied 31 career wins and 11 career championships in AMA Amateur National Competition. Brandon turned professional in 2016 finishing 7th overall in Singles Competition. 2017 brought 4 podium finishes and his first win, but also included a season ending injury that brought his season to an end.
For 2019 Brandon moved up to the premier Super Twins class aboard the Roofing Systems of Dallas Indian FTR 750. In keeping with his drive for success, Brandon won the Rookie of the Year Title via strong finishes including a stunning 2nd place at the William Grove PA Half-Mile. We are all looking forward to that first win in 2020!
